Words that Changed the World

“Sverni svum, å lim yurpi berk yir diiskido. Yimmi sver, yåi bor skembe skir fjrni vir dihurgi. Yåi borsch nir fjurn dir di öön bork börk børk.”

  1. Oh, sure--you can laugh about this cruel and hurtful stereotype. But what about all the impressionable kids who grew up watching this, who now think that all Swedes (and perhaps all Scandinavians) say "Bork Bork Bork."

    Ha ha. VERY funny.

It's more of a "Jorg Jorg Jorg" sound, but then, you'll happily trample the truth--and an entire nation--for a gag, won't you?

I'd say it was worth it. This made me laugh out loud.

  2. I honestly believed for years that you could toss an ear of corn into the air, shoot it with a shotgun, and it would rain popcorn. Bless you Swedish Chef.
